   • Flush no clamp

9. Complications

   • thrombosis
   • Blood stream infection
   • Local irritation
   • air embolism
   • kinks in the line

10. Bio patch- blue to the sky

11. Normal bung

    • Flush + CLAMP

12. 10mL syringe with 8mL Push Flush post all IV

    • even after IVF infusion flush
    • Maintaining positive pressure

13. Within EN Scope

    • Competency must be achieved
    • dependant on hospital policy and procedure
