1. It is used to compare two things

   • Formula: adjective+er+than (short)
     • Formula: more+adjective+than (long)
       • Exeptions: good=better bad=worst far=farther
         • Example: My bed is cooler than the sofa

2. It is used to compare three or more things

   • Formula: the+adjective+est(short)
     • Formula: the+most+adjective(long)
       • Exeptions:good=best bad=worst far=fartest
         • Example: I am the best in maths
