1. Cardboard

   • Durability
     • Can't get wet
     • Edges can get crushed easier
     • can easily get stained
   • Appearance
     • lightweight not as elegant
     • Comes in any colour the brands want
   • sustainability
     • Plain card can be recycled.
     • Laminated card cannot be recycled
     • Foam inserts holding pans in place cannot be recycled
     • Glue used may not be eco freindly

2. Metal

   • Appearance
     • Can come in any colour and design
     • can come in many shape varients
   • durability
     • Long-lasting
     • strong but can dent if dropped
     • Paint can chip of over time
   • sustainability
     • Can be recycled many times
     • raw material has to be mined
     • Can be recycled in regular house hold recycling

3. Glass

   • Durability
     • strong but can break if dropped
     • Will last if taken care of
     • Not suitable for travel
   • Appearance
     • Looks more luxurious and expensive
     • Good for jars and pots
     • may not be good for products like compact powders in pallets
   • sustainability
     • Glass can be recycled indefinitely
     • Silica used to make the glass may not be from a sustainable source
     • Can be recycled in regular house hold recycling

4. Bioplastic

   • Durability
     • Similar to traditional plastic
     • can crack of dropped from height
     • can travel well
   • Appearance
     • Is very similar to traditional plastic packgaing
     • Can be completely customizable
   • sustainability
     • Made from grown material like vegetables
     • Cannot be recycled with traditional methods
     • Can be made from scrap or waste produce
     • Needs to be composted industrially
