   • CL
     • starts as papule then to nodular plaques then ulcer lesion with raised edges, covered by scab surrounding by inflammation
   • MCL
     • it affects nose, mouth and throat cavities
   • VL
     • it affects the internal organs especially liver, spleen and bone marrow

8. Diagnosis

   • Blood smear
   • Skin biopsy
   • Serology

9. Treatment

   • Sodium stibogluconate
   • Meglumine antimoniate
   • Miltefosine
   • Amphotericin
   • Paromomycin
