1. newspaper article

   • provide a small title in italic font.
   • If the newspaper has a URL, include it at the end of the reference.
   • If the article has pages, add the ones you used.
   • If the newspaper article is from an academic research database, add title of the newspaper and any volume, issue, and/or page numbers you used.
   • if the news are from a website, that doesn't have a linked daily or weekly newspaper, use the document for a webpage on a news website instead.

2. book

   • Provide the author, year of publication, title, and publisher of the book
   • Use the copyright date as the date of publication instead of the real one.
   • include edition information next to the title with parentheses and without italics.
   • If the book has a DOI, include it in the reference after the publisher name.
   • Do not include the publisher location.

3. scientific magazine article

   • If a magazine article has a DOI, include it in the reference
   • If it doesn't have a DOI and is from an academic research database, end the reference after the page number.
   • If it doesn't have a DOI but has an usefull URL, add it at the end of the reference.
   • If the magazine article doesn't have volume, issue, and/or page numbers, ommit the missing ones in the reference.

4. Dictionary entry

   • add any edition information about the dictionary in parentheses without italics after the dictionary title.
   • add the dictionary title
   • Provide the page number for the entry in parentheses after the title of the dictionary

5. When both an edition and page number are present, place them in the same set of parentheses, separated with a comma.

7. brochure

   • Brochures follow the same format as report references.
   • This brochure has an organizational author rather than individual authors.
   • Include the description “[Brochure]” in square brackets after the title of the brochure

8. Podcast

   • List the host of the podcast as the author.
   • add the executive producers, if known.
   • add the span of years during which the podcast aired in the date element of the reference.
   • For a podcast that is still on the air, add the year the podcast started airing and use the word “present” in place of the second year
   • For a podcast that has ended and aired for multiple years, provide the start and end years, separated with an en dash.
   • For a podcast that started and ended airing in the same year, provide just that year.
   • Specify the type of podcast in square brackets
   • In general, end the reference with the URL if it has one.

   • Use the youtube channel name that uploaded the video as the author.

   • To cite the words of individuals featured in a video, name or describe the individual(s) in your sentence in the text and then provide a parenthetical citation for the video.
   • add the specific date on which the video was uploaded
   • Italicize the title of the video
   • nclude the description “[Video]” in square brackets after the title.
