Cooperative Learning

1. Is intended to promote students learning, In small groups from 2-6 students.

2. How does it work?

   • 1. Students receive intructions from the teacher.
     • 2. All members work on the assigment provided by the teacher.
       • 3. Finally they got the results of their effort.

3. How does a cooperative learning look like?

   • * Everyone take care of their learning.
     • * Groups are made with hight, medium, and low academic achieviing students.
       • * Inside of each group you will find a variety of students, talking about gender, race, social economic status, culture.
         • * All the members must cooparate and collaborate.
           • * Everyone learn from each other.
             • * Rewards are oriented towards the group.

4. Key Elements.

   • Positive interdependence.
     • Efforts made for each member will benefit the entire group.
   • Individual and group accountability.
     • Each member of the group has to develop a role when working as a team.
   • Interpersonal and small group skilss.
     • Each member must learn how to work in team, so that they can achieve what they want.
   • Face to face promotive interaction.
     • Teach and learn from each other.
   • Group processing.
     • Provide a feedback of the group to see how they are working.
