1. ROM

   • R: Read
   • M: Memery
   • O: Only

2. RAM

   • M: Memary
   • R: Random
   • A: Access

3. What they do

   • ROM: Once data has been written onto a ROM chip, it cannot be removed and can only be read. Unlike main memory (RAM), ROM retains its contents even when the computer is turned off.
   • RAM: is a hardware device that allows information to be stored and retrieved on a computer but requires power to keep the data accessible; if power is lost all data contained in memory lost.

4. There differences

   • RAM= Loses its memory if computer is turned of.
   • ROM= doesn't lose its memory even if computer is turned
   • Ram= Ram can do more things when more MB and GB are put in the computer
