1. resistors

   • used to slow down the current
     • overload components and break if not installed
   • pull down or pull up resistors
     • pull down means it pulls the current down
     • pull up means the current gets pulled up when their is no current
   • resistors are measured in ohms law
     • they can be worked out using a resistor code
       • coloured bands on resistor

2. AQ and AC checks

   • make sure the LED leads are twisted to tidy
   • make sure the soldering points are small and do not cause problems neat and tidy
   • make sure the current flows between all points of the ciurcit
   • LEDs the longer leg to plus anode
     • smaller leg cathode to the minus sign on circuit
     • flat side of the LED is the plus side.
