1. ADDIE MODEL

   • This model is an approach that helps teachers to create an efficient, effective teaching design.
   • This systematic process is represented in the acronym ADDIE, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
   • It is based on the instructional design which is a systematic process that helps in creating and developing effective, appealing, and efficient instructional materials within a supportive environment using art, science, learning, and instructional theory.
   • Phases
     • Design Phase
       • In this step to you think about how design instruction can really be effective in ways that facilitate people’s learning and interaction with the materials you create and provide.
       • This is when you start applying the instruction.
     • Implementation Phase
       • It is about transforming our plan into action.
       • Three steps: Training the teachers, prepare students, and organize the learning environment.
     • Analysis Phase
       • Teachers analyse skills and abilitites, which steps to take to crete learing opportunities.
       • This is the most important part of the process because teachers do an analysis before creating, developing or implementig a plan.
     • Evaluation Phase
       • It is very important to evaluate if you are meeting with the learners needs.
       • Mske sure that you are achieving your goals.
     • Development Phase
       • This phase depends on the first two phases.
       • The instructional designers integrate the technology with the educational setting and process.

2. ASSURE MODEL

   • It is a guide for planning and conducting instruction that uses media.
   • It has six steps.
     • Analyze Learners
       • It is important to identify your audience.
       • The audience can be analyzed in terms of their general characteristics ( and specific entry competencies
     • State Objectives
       • State the objectives for the instructional experience
       • It is important to establish what will the student get out of the lesson
     • Select methods, media and materials
       • Select the method you will use to teach.
       • Select, design and even create your own material.
     • Utilize media and materials
       • You need to decide how the media, materials and technology must be used to carry out your methods
     • Require Learner Participation
       • Let students participate because they learn better when they are actively involved in the learning experienc
     • Evaluate and Revise
       • Evaluate how effective was your lesson according to what you planned.
       • Check if something needs to be changed.
