1. Diagrams

   • Rays are drawn with arrows showing their direction
   • Normal is drawn at 90 degrees from mirror
   • Mirrors
     • Surface that the light bounces off
       • Straight line
     • Back
       • Diagonal lines along it to show the light doesn't reflect from it
   • Label the rays
   • Label the normal

2. Rays

   • ALWAYS travel in straight lines
   • Incident ray
     • The ray before it strikes a mirror
   • Reflected ray
     • The ray after it hits the mirror
   • Normal
     • A line at right angles to the mirror where the ray hits it
   • Drawn with arrows showing their direction

3. Angles

   • Angle of incidence
     • Angle between incident ray and the normal
     • Measured from the normal
   • Angle of reflection
     • Angle between reflected ray and the normal
     • Measured from the normal
   • Angle of incidence and angle of reflection are EQUAL
