   • Definition: How much of an object is present in given amount of volume.

   • Equation to Use: ρ=mass/volume
     • Units: lbs/cf OR g/cc

3. Surface Tension

   • Definition: fluid property that allows fluid to fight external forces
   • In Petroleum Engineering: Helps find hard it will be to extract oil from reservoir rock
   • γ=Force/Length
     • Units: N/m OR Lbf/ft
