1. Main features: These regulations give consumers rights when they shop via the internet, TV or telephone or from a magazine. : (0 = online purchasing) Consumers are entitled to clear information – before they order – about

   • The supplier’s name / address
     • Cost of the goods
       • Delivery costs and arrangements
         • How to pay
           • How to cancel

2. Protection offered for consumers:

   • These regulations entitle customers to cancel an order within seven working days (the first day being the day after you receive the goods); and to a full refund if the goods or services are not delivered within 30 days. protects consumers when they shop from TV, internet, telephone, catalogue or magazine
     • ensures consumers receive clear information about suppliers’ details – name, address
       • prevents hidden charges in paying for item or delivery
         • entitles customers to cancel an order within seven days from receiving the goods
           • entitles them to a full refund if goods or services are not received within 30 days
