Navua Township:

situated on the navua river flood plain., flooding in 2003 and 2004 cause widespread damage to crops, homes, livestock etc.

using vulnerability and capacity assessment the development priorities were identified and action plans were developed with local populations. the developemt needs were then channeled through government representatives.

Steering committee oversee the project groups work.
