- 1A presentation package combines text, graphics, sound and video. This can also called multimedia. Text can be formatted using the font options provided by the package. Animation features allow users to: Add moving images Create a path for objects when they enter or leave a slide. Add effects (or example 'fly in' ) to objects when they enter or leave the slide. Headers and Footers can include the date and slide number. Slide notes enable the developer to include details that can read or referred to when presenting the information. Backgrounds and Themes change the text colours and background graphics on the slide. Navigation Buttons and hyperlinks allows users to select different pathways. Master slides lets you have the same thing on each slide e.g. a home button this means the users can access the home slide on any of the slides. Slide Transitions allows the slide to appear different on every slide or every other slide.You can print slides out in a e.g. on hand-out from this allows 3 slides to be printed out at one time. A transition sound plays music as it appears.
The transition speed determines how fast the slide comes in.
you can link or embed objects e.g. graphs, tables, or sounds from other software packages.
