- 1Threats to data Natural disasters- If not kept on a secure surface or in a secure room it could get damaged or if it floods the electronics inside the computer would fizz and crash causing destruction. This could create loss of money in the company as they would have to buy new computers and would waste time the company needs to create an project but instead they are wasting their time on fixing things to make the project/projects successful otherwise the project/projects will fail to live up to the customers needs.Data protection act
Data protection act- The data protection act is a way to keep all data safe from unknown users, trespassers or hackers. It also is know as (DPA) and is an United Kingdom Act of Parliament which was passed in 1988. It was developed to control how personal or customer information is used by organisations or government bodies. It protects people and lays down rules about how data about people can be used.
