This method refers to the use of music as therapy to obtain relaxation to learn a foreign language

It was developed by Georgi Lozanov in 1970

Music was the central resource used in this method

Learners were encouraged to be as "Childlike" as possible to feel relaxed

The teacher must create a suitable environment where the students can fin comfortable seats

Teacher reads the dislogues aloud to the accompaniment of music

Disadvantages

- There is little evidence to support the claims of sucess about this method

- Classical music is not stimulating for everibodyvand the students have different learning styles

- Lenght of the dialogues may confuse rather than motivate

- The relaxing enviroment is beyong the means of most educational settings
