Start: Pi as a ratio of circumference to diameter.

Have all your materials ready.

Use measuring tape to measure circumferences of three objects, to the nearest millimeter, and place them in a table.

Are you done up to this point?

If No, then go back and ask your teacher for help.

If done, use compass to draw three circles with radi according to the table.

Use compass and ruler to find the center of each circle.

Now find the diameters in millimeters of each circle and place them in the table.

Use a string to measure the circumference of each circle drawn, to the nearest millimeter.

Put the measured values of circumferences in the table.

On a paper provided by the teacher, do the divisions of the ratio: C / d correct to 3 decimals places, for every circle.

Fill in the table with the fractional form of the ratio, C / d and the division value correct to 3 decimal places.

Use the brim of each circular object to draw circles on paper provided by teacher.

Next, draw and measure the diameters of each circle and place the values in the table.
