A dependent preposition is a preposition that always follows the same expression

You can use the preposition ABOUT after the verb Come, Get, Think.

*We use at to designate specific times.

for example

-The train is due at 12:15 p.m.

*We use at for specific addresses.

-Grammar English lives at 55 Boretz Road in Durham.

We use BETWEEN when naming elements specifically and separately.

For example:

I’m trying to decide between the green shirt and the blue shirt.

We use FOR destiantion and we can use it to talk about adresse for gifts.

For example:

This gift is for you.

*We use in for nonspecific times during a day, a month, a season, or a year.

For example:

She likes to jog -in the morning.

*we use in for the names of land-areas

For example:

-She lives in Durham.

We use OF to indicate that something is part of something else, or is related to that thing.

For example:

The walls OF the room

*We use on to designate days and dates.

For example:

My brother is coming on Monday.

*We use on to designate names of streets, avenues, etc.

-Her house is on Boretz Road.

*We can use TO to indicate travel destiantion and displacement.

For example:

She went to Cuba on her last holiday.

We use WITH when we talk about something together.

For example:

-I study with my friends
