FIRST CONDITIONAL

-Real or possible situations.

-Likely situations in the future.

SECOND CONDITIONAL

-Unreal, imaginary or impossible situations.

-Unlikely situations in the future.

-Hypothetical questions (would/could).

-Give advice or reasons why.

If + Present Simple, Will + Verb

If + Past Simple, Would + Verb

"If" can be changed by:

-Unless: If ... not or except if.

-As long as: If and only if.

"If" can be changed by:

-Unless: If ... not or except if.

-Supposing (that).

Basic form: If clause + Main clause.

When clauses order changes, "if" is a conjunction
