Barriers for the use of Technology in the classroom

Lack of money or funds

A solid foundation

Solution:

Many teachers do not have significant support from the school to use technology or the school may have a lack of resources. In this case the best solution would be to bring it up at a staff development day. It would be best to be prepared for a presentation on how to solve this issue in the school.

Parent and Teacher Resistance/ Lack of knowledge.

Parent and Teacher Resistance Solution: Parent Resistance could be combated by making the parents aware of the teachings and curriculum with the use of technology. I found that if parents are involved with their children's learning they are less resistant to change.

Lack of knowledge solution:

prepare teachers by holding forums and give teachers the training necessary to move forward and use technology.

Solution:

Ask for more funding if this is not an option ask parents for help. Start a "go fund me" page. Teachers could even use a "bring your own device" adaption so that the school will not need to buy devices.
