   • Sample espace: set of all possible results
   • Event: Sub-set of the sample space
   • Experiments: Random Phenomena

2. Odd: If # a of results are favorable to event E there is a #b of events that are not favorable

3. Probability Formulas.

   • P(E)= #of favorable results/ total #of results
   • P(E)= #of times that an event occurs/ #of times the experiment is performed

4. Events involving "not and or"

   • P(A or B)= P(A)+P(B)
   • P(not E)= 1-P(E)

5. Events involving "and"

   • P(A ∩ B)= P(A)*P(B)
   • P(B/A)= P (A ∩ B) / P(A)
