Computer Performance

Computer Performance

1. Why do we need upgrades

   • Cache
     • With a larger cache, the CPU stores more in the cache so that it can run previously used sites and files faster and store more of them
   • Clock speed
     • With faster clock speed the CPU has higher Hz and can run faster
       • 1GHz=1,000,000,000,000Hz
   • Cores
     • The more cores a processor has the faster it runs tasks and files
     • Good for multitasking
