1. Application Software

   • Application software is a set of one or more programs designed to carry out operations for a specific application.

2. Hardware

   • Hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer system.

3. Software

5. ROM

   • Once data has been written onto a ROM chip, it cannot be removed and can only be read.

9. Motherboard

   • a printed circuit board containing the principal components of a computer or other device, with connectors into which other circuit boards can be slotted.

    • a hand-operated electronic device that controls the coordinates of a cursor on your computer screen

    • An operating system (OS) is software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs

    • a machine for printing text or pictures onto paper, especially one linked to a computer.

16. Monitor

    • an instrument or device used for observing, checking, or keeping a continuous record of a process or quantity

17. RAM

    • acronym for random access memory, a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly
