   • oculus rift
     • • the occulus rift works through a box that hooks up the gaming headset to the computer, and the headset has an orientation unit for motion controls unlike any other manufacturers.one of the newer models, dubbed "crystal cove" uses IR LEDS to track position rather than just orientation

10. storage

    • • there are either one or many "platters" with a magnetic coating on both sides spinning at 10,000 RPM to access any data at any moment
    • • instead of a disk used in this, it uses a memory chip with up to 10 years "shelf life" with the best offering 100,000 rewrites & erases
    • • now we are getting in to slightly more complicated territory, the ROM storage, standing for Read Only Memory, this sort of chip allows for one writing of a single file, in the betas of some ROMs they are rewritable through the use of UV light, some stickers protect the data and with the use of a Ultra Violet light source, allow for instant deletion of code and rewriting of the code to fix bugs (see beta game catrtridges)
