1. States of matter

   • There are 4 states of matter; Solid, Liquid, Gas, and Plasma. The particles are organized different depend on the state if it solid the particles will be more closer to each other but is we continue to increase te temperature to liquid, or gas even plasma the particles are going to be more separated.

2. What is an atom?

   • The atom is composed of protons electrons and neutrons and the atom is the basic unit of mater and is inside an element. the first person that introduces the atom was Democritus, and whit the pass of the years the humanity has improved the model of an atom the most popular are; Dalton Model, Thompson Model, Ernest Model, Niels Model, Erwin Model.

3. Periodic Table

   • In the periodis table the elements are organized in grups and period, A group in the periodic table is used to organize the elements and also the elements that are in the same group have similar chemical properties. A period in the periodic table is used to classify the element for the number of electronic layers that that element has sowed in conclusion if the element is in period 2 it have 2 electronic layers.
   • In the periodic table are diferent types of metal dependin in there; malleability, ductility, and conductivity.
     • A malleable material is one that can be hammered or rolled into flat sheets or other shapes.
     • Ductility is a material that can be pulled out, or drawn, into long wires-
     • Thermal conductivity is the ability of an object to transfer heat.
     • A nonmetal is an element that lacks most of the properties of a metal. In general, nonmetals are poor conductors of electric current and heat.
     • Metalloids have some properties of metals and some properties of nonmetals. All metalloids are solids at room temperature. Metalloids are also brittle, hard, and somewhat reactive.
