1. security

   • protection of data or hardware from unauthorised user
     • input
       • an input device is any piece of computer hardware used to provide data to a computer system.

   • anything you save, it could be a document, a piece of music, anything.
     • hardware
       • the physical parts of a computer system, eg a graphics card, hard disk drive or CD drive.

3. folder/sub folder

   • A place to store files that are related. e.g. all of the files are related to one project.

4. server

   • a computer that holds data to be shared to other computers. A web server stores and shares websites.
     • connection
       • the user can only access their information if they have a network connection.
   • backing up
     • data backed up in the cloud with a reliable provider can be more reliable then storing your information on a hard drive or USB flash memory stick.

5. file management

   • The organisation of files and folders using suitible names. which gives an identidy of a file and placed into folders.

6. password

   • a string of characters used to verify the identidy of user.

7. Alphanumeric

   • a mixture of numbers and letters.

8. secure password

   • a mixture of numbers, letters and symbols at least 8 characters. use of symbols not easy to guess.
     • copyright
       • the user sometimes loses legal rights to their original matirial ifthey store it online

9. non-secure password

   • name pet ect. dictionary words and not complisated.
