   • closed questions
     • these are questions to which all possible answer are provides
       • the most aften- usedform of closed questions is the dichotomous question requiring a yes or no
   • multiple-coice questions
     • are questions which provide a number of predefined responses
       • this allows the researcher to hold some control over the responses given
   • open ended questions
     • impose none of the restrictions of closed and multiplechoice questiosn
       • they allow for the recording of any response to a questions

4. Definition

   • is a complex process which involves presenthing questions in a clear and unambiguous way so that the respondent may interpret them ,articulate his or her response

5. Limitations

   • leading questions
     • are those which provide for only one right answer to the questiosn posed
     • when you know your research topic and its issues, it can difficult to avoid
   • mplicated questions
     • you questionare may seek to gather a great deak of information,but it would be a mistake to yhink that complex questions will harvest a greater yield of information .
