Initial Ideas

1. Techniques We Could Use

   • Freeze Frame
     • Freeze frames would be good to use within a performance as it lets the audience have a clear picture to interpret from and not just a performance as a whole. This technique requires one or more people, depending on the performance
   • Chair Duets
     • As there is no speech in a chair duet it allows the audience to interpret the body movements used. This technique requires two people
   • Hymns Hands
     • Hymns hands has a similar meaning as to why we might use it to using a chair duet. However, the difference is that the audience have to interpret from the actors hands motion and not their full body. This technique requires two people
   • Round By Through
     • Round by through is a good technique to know and be able to use. To use it, one person would be stood in the middle of the others and then someone would come round that person, someone would go by that person and someone would go through that person. This technique requires two or more people, although I recommend using 4 people
   • Improvisation
     • By using the improvisation method, it allows the actor(s) to not have to sit down and waste time talking about what they are going to do. This technique requires one or more person.

3. What we could do

   • Create an atmosphere that fits the theme of the spooky and tragic idea that i thought came from the stimulus
   • Use a variety of techniques to convey the haunted theme within the stimulus and to portray to the audience a spiritual themed performance
   • Try out different ideas and don't just stick to one because we need to explore a variety of ideas to see which one fits the best
