Intelligence Model- Rebecca

1. Fluid and Crytallized

   • Fluid Intelligence is the ability to process information, particularly in a novel or complex circumstances; Crystallized Intelligence is both knowledge gained through experience and the ability to use that knowledge (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).

2. Triarchic Theory

   • The idea that people have three types of intelligence (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).: analytical which is someone who can solve problems and analyze them, creative someone who thinks outside the box and can be artistic whether painting or with words, and practical someone is realistic and tends not to think emotionally.

3. General Intelligence

   • The theory is that one common factor determines intelligence.(Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).

4. Multiple

   • People have many different types of intelligence that are independent of one another (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).
   • Logical-Mathematical
     • Body Kinesthetic
       • The ability to use some parts or all over the body to solve a problem, or express feelings or emotions (Suuml, 2011).
         • I rate myself a 5, because I'm not very athletic but I am able to play phsycal games and dance when a good song is on.
     • Linguistic
       • Naturalist
         • Intrapersonal
           • Spatial Intelligence
             • Musical
               • Interpersonal
                 • The ability to understand and interact effectively with others. It involves effective verbal and nonverbal communication, the ability to note distinctions among others (UTHSC, 2022).
                   • I would rate myself a 8, only because I am really good at telling the moods and what my family is thinking. But when it comes to strangers, I can be a little oblivious to what they are thinking.
               • The capability of being sensitive to rhythm, melody and tone (Suuml, 2011).
                 • I would rate myslef a 7 because I can sing along to songs pretty easily even if it is my first time hearing it. I also can tell the pitch or like the high and low notes and when singers change their tone.
             • The intelligence of picture or an image is the capacity of perceiving the visual world properly and creating one’s own visual experiences (Suuml, 2011).
               • I would rate myslf a 9 because I tend to visualize a lot especially when reading. Also when seeing certain things whether it be clouds or painting I can always find some sort of shape or image. Also while studying I am a visual learner.
           • A person has self-knowledge and takes responsibility for his/her life and learning (Suuml, 2011).
             • I would rate myself an 8 because I really like having alone time and just be myself. But me learning by myself doesn't work out.
         • When someone understands things about the natural world (Suuml, 2011).
           • I would rate myself a 4, because I am not that into nature and being outside, I dont like to travel, but I do like roadtrips and flowers
       • People who have high verbal language intelligence are those who learn well by hearing, speaking, reading, discussing and communicating with each other (Suuml, 2011).
         • I would rate myself 7, because when I study, I have to read the powerpoint out loud and I have to hear someone explain it me.
     • To make a logical relations and by digitizing the specific features of things and calculating them and thinking about the abstract relations between them (Suuml, 2011).
       • I rate myself a 4 only because I am really good at adding numbers, but I am really bad at games like chess and puzzles. But I do tend to think logically instead of emotionally.

5. Emotional Intelligence

   • Skills in managing emotions and recognizing them in other people (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).
