1. Fluid intelligence is the ability to process information in complex situations (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).

   • People high in this intelligence often learn by comprehending how things work before figuring out the solution (Perera, 2020).
     • I would rate myself an 8 in this area of intelligence because I can think through situations before I come up with a solution with almost any situation.

2. Crystallized intelligence is the ability to use knowledge that is gained through experience (Grison & Gazzaniga, 2019).

   • People high in this intelligence can link situations to education that they have learned previously (Perera, 2020).
     • I think I would rate myself a 10 in this intelligence because if I know something from the past and it comes up again, I can easily make the comparison between the two factors.
