1. RAM

   • RAM stands for Random Access Memory
     • It is a has a Volatile memory
       • This means it requires a constant power source to retain information. when power id lost or turned off, a RAM chip will lose the information stored on it.
   • A RAM chip is used in the normal operations of a computer after startingup

2. ROM

   • ROM stands for Read-Only Memory
     • ROM has a non Volatile memory
       • This means that it does not require a constant source of power to retain information stored on it. When power is lost or turned off a ROM chip will keep the information stored
     • A ROM
   • A ROM chip is used primarily in the start up off the computer
