1.2.1 Your RAM is a type of data
which is wiped every time your
computer is shut down.
1.2.1.1 Every time you save your files, it is wiped
from the RAM and put on the ROM.
1.2.1.1.1 It can sometimes be
referred as the
computers brain
1.2.1.1.2 It is only wiped so that it can make
room for other applications to run.
2 WHat does ROM stand for?
2.1 ROM stands for Read Only Memory
2.2 What does it do?
2.2.1 Once any data on your
computer has been written on
to ROM, it can not be deleted.
Unlike RAM, ROM saves all data,
even when it has been turned
off.
2.2.1.1 ROM is nonvolatile
memory, whereas
RAM is Volatile.
3 Volatile Memory?
3.1 Volatile Memory is a
type of computer
storage which only
keeps it's data when it
is powered on. This can
mainly be considered
as RAM rather than
ROM.
