1. Big data

   • Very large databases that grows exponentially though time characterized by volume, velocity and variety

2. Relation to both movies

   • In the big short, burry (the main character) turns a non structured data based into a model that can make predictions based on the information and leads to the action of betting agaisnt the actions.
   • In Margin Call, the scene shows how one of the employees detects an issue analyzing the data and discovering many risks which then led to re-evaluating a dmaking a better decision.

3. What is Data Science?

   • It is a field that combines statistics, knowledge, computer science, and other subjects in order to make decisions from data.

4. Data Analytics

   • It is examining data in order to find trends and patterns that will be helpfull to make smart and informed decisions for better outcomes

5. phases of the CRISP DM

   • 1.Business understanding: Defining objectives
     • 2. Data understanding: Collecting the data and analizing it
       • 3. Data preparation: Make sure the data is of good quality, makes sense and its easy to analize
         • 4. Modeling: Choose the best model to asess the data and solve the problems
           • 5. Evaluation: Analizing if the model met the business objective and was efficiently used
             • 6. Deploying: Implementing the model to the systems or the processing of production to make the change
