1. Input Devices

   • Mouse
     • When you move the mouse on the desk the mouse on the screen this is because of the data.
   • Key Board
     • You press on the keys and you see the letters or numbers on the sreen and it is the data you have just made.
   • Mic
     • You speak in to it and the data goes into the thing it is connected to and the other person or thing on the other side hears you.
   • Tablet
     • You tap on the screen and the data flows through it so it does what you want.
   • Web Cam
     • It takes videos and the data goes on to the computer.
   • Joy Stick
     • You move it and it makes data go onto the thing you are playing on to move your character where you want it to move.
   • Head Set
     • You speak in to it and the data goes into the thing it is connected to and the other person or thing on the other side hears you.
   • A Controller
     • You press buttons and what you want to do will happen like changing the channel on the T.V.
   • Touch Pad
     • When you press on it it allows you input data onto whatever the touch pad is connected to.
   • Arcade Games
     • You press on the buttons to make the character move how you like with data.

2. Storage Devices

   • MP3 player
     • It stores the music you put on it.
   • Computer
     • It stores all the work and games you have done on it.
   • PS4
     • It stores all your achievements on a game.
   • Memory Stick
     • It stores all the things you put on it.
   • PC Card
     • It stores your data on your computer.

3. Output

   • A Monitor
     • A monitor out puts all the things that has been inputted into it.
   • Tablet
     • You see the outcome of pressing on it on the screen and this is output.
   • Speaker
     • It outputs sound.
   • Head Set
     • You here the person that is speaking to you this is output.
   • Printer
     • It outputs paper but is not plain any more.
   • Projecter
     • You press a button and it outputs the picture on the paper.
   • Phone
     • Someone speaks through there phone and it outputs into your phone.
   • Console
     • It out puts sound.
   • shredder
     • You put paper in it and it outputs shredded paper.
   • Controller
     • It vibrates when you are playing this is output.

4. Processing

   • Central Processing Unit
     • A central processing unit, or CPU, is responsible for giving instructions.
   • Graphics Processin Unit
     • It is a computer chip that performs rapid mathematical calculations.
   • Motherboard
     • A motherboard links the different components within a computer.
   • Network Card
     • It processes your work and then you are able to put it on a different device.
   • Sound Card
     • It processes your music so it can go on a different device.
