   • Also known as cos

2. Tangent

   • Opposite over adjacent
   • Also known as tan

3. Sine

   • Opposite over hypotenuse
   • Also known as sin

4. Pythagoras thereom

   • (A)2+(B)2=(C)2

5. To calculate sin cos or tan with a calculator put tan cos sin with a number after it

   • If you are given CosA = 4.23 to find the angle do cos inverse 2.23

6. If you are trying to put an angle into degrees minutes and seconds use the shift then dms button on a calculator
