1. Sentences

   • Is grammatically a string of words
     • Examples
       • Hellen rolled up the carpet
       • Juan is sick
       • Nicolas cleans up the room
   • A complete thought
   • Abstract
   • Can be longer or shorter
   • It is neither a physical event nor object

2. Propositions

   • Part of the meaning of the utterance
   • Object of thought
   • Is produced by filtering out types of grammatical information
   • Is a sentence expressing something is true or false
   • Just true prpositions can be known
     • Examples
       • Grass is green -- true
       • 2 +2 = 5 --- false
       • Both are prepositions but just the first one is true

3. Utterances

   • It is spoken
   • Physical event
   • By a specific person
   • May be grammatical
   • Is any stretch of talk
     • Examples
       • "Not much"
       • "pskdhsaaie"
       • "It's 8:27"
         • One and three are examples of utterance but the second one no, because I'm not expressing something
