1. Electric current

   • Time rate of flow of electric charge, in the direction that a positive moving charge would take and having magnitude equal to the quantity of charge per unit time.
   • It's measured in amperes.

2. Voltage

   • Pressure from an electrical circuit’s power source that pushes charged electrons (current) through a conducting loop.
     • illuminating a light.

3. Resistance

   • (R) of a material depends on its length, cross-sectional area, and the resistivity (the Greek letter rho).

4. Ohm's Law

   • To calculate the current if the electric potential difference and the resistance are known.
   • It indicates the two variables that would affect the amount of current in a circuit.

5. Protoboard

   • Board with a matrix of small holes to which components may be attached without solder.
   • Used for the temporary construction and testing of electrical and electronic circuits.

6. LED

   • abbreviation for light-emitting diode
     • Semiconductor device that produces light from electricity.
   • LEDs last a long time and do not break easily.
   • They can produce many different colors.
