   • Baseline incidence = outcome infrequent, more patients needed to detect differenec
   • Power- ability to detect effect or find a difference if it really exists. If effect size is large dont need as many people
     • Cohens efect size 0.1 small 0.3 medium, 0.5 large

2. One tail is more powerful than 2. larger chance of people being in the tail. But larger chance of error. Have to divide 0.05 in half
