Zusammenfassung der Ressource

Amelogenisis
  1. Enamel, 96% mineral, contains hydroxiapitite rods
    1. Ameloblasts
      1. derived from internal dental epithelium
        1. Secrete enamel proteins,amelogenins 90%, amelin 5-10%
      2. Has no blood supply, denpends on Glycogen and extracelluar matrix
        1. Phase 1+2
          1. A matrix is secreted and partially mineralised immediatly
            1. Completed with complete mineralisaion, removal of organic material. Maturation phase.
            2. Starts only after Odontoblasts start to lay dentine.
              1. contains no collagen
                1. Ameloblasts move away from dentine surface, and produce a short conical process called 'Tomes Process'
                  1. Secretion starts at proximal end of Tomes, walled pits form and then filled in from other end of Tomes
              2. 3. Rebound to surface
                1. 4. The outamost 5um become highly mineralised
            3. Very sensitive, tetricyclin staining, flourosis etc.
