     • Restrication on how it can be used
     • sold from licence buy money
   • Open source (can change and read the code)
     • Organic = it changes over the time as developer modify it
     • No commercial organisation so no helpline or regular update
     • software is licensed but no charge
     • Soldable by developers
     • New software from open source must also be open
     • Anyone can modify it
   • Freewave (free to use but does not get the access to the soource cod
