Six beliefs

1. Tawhid

   • The belief in the oneness of Allah. Monotheistic religion.
   • Expressed prayer everyday.

2. Malaikah

   • The belief in angles
   • They accept the existence of angles and know that they are obedient to Allah. They give messages to prophets

3. Kutub (authority of...))

   • Muslims believe in other holy books. EG the Tawrat, Zabur (Psalms) and Injil (Gospel)
   • Main holy book is the Qur'an
   • People look for advice on their faith.

4. Nubuwwah

   • They recognise the prophets of Allah
     • Muhammad, Isa and Ibrahim.

5. al-Qadr

   • Predestination (fate)
     • Muslims belief that Allah knows all. Humans may have free will but He knows what will happen.

6. Akhirah

   • Teachings about life after death
     • Muslims believe in an afterlife. They accept that there will be a day of judgement.
   • Live life properly as they will be judged in the afterlife.

7. Unites Sunni Muslims.

   • Helps them understand their religion
     • Supports them on how to live life.
       • Supports what belief they should have.
