Types of databases

1. Online

   • Online databases are used to have a clear webpage that is easy acessable by a webpage. Everyone can see up to date.

2. Local and network

   • Companies use local and networked within their companies. Networked is where you can use more than one. For example you can login anywhere for example in a school. Local is where only one person can use this. For example finance.

3. Flat and relational

   • Flat is one table with all the information this uses more dater which means that it uses more memorie and you can eaiser to make more mistakes
   • Relational is split into different tables. So it takes away repeated data (redundant). Its less likely to make more mistakes and uses less memorie so it will work faster so its better than flat.
