   • Install a antivirus software and keep it up to date by running it regularly.
   • Use strong passwords.
   • Secure your network.

2. Computer virus

   • A software programmed onto a computer without the knowledge of the user.
   • Keep your personal information safe.
   • Dont use open wifi.
   • Back up your files and info.

3. Rogue security software

   • A fraud to trick the user to believing there's a virus on the computer leading them to paying for it to get solved.
   • Install a firewall
   • Use automatic updating to keep your operating system and software up to date.
   • Use caution when you click links in email or on social networking websites

4. Trojan horse

   • A malware which misleads a user from its true intent.
   • Don't open unknown emails
   • Scan websites before using them
   • Scan DVDs and CDs

5. Malicious spyware

   • Gives the ability to spy on another computer
   • Back up your files
   • Use strong passwords
   • Don't open emails from unknown people and don't click on links you recieve.

6. Botnet

   • A malware which steals data.
   • Disable autorun
   • Install a windows firewall
   • Install reputation based filtering.

7. Spam

   • A malware which send email junk.
