   • there are many different types of malware: Virus. Worm. A worm is self-replicating and spreads without end-user action, causing real devastation. Trojan, Ransomware, Adware, Spyware, File-less malware, The hybrid attack.

2. computer virus

   • can slow your computer down
   • can destroy and delete files
   • a malicious program
   • some examples are : Resident Virus. Resident viruses that live in your RAM memory, Multipartite Virus. This type of virus can easily spread in your computer system, Direct Action Virus, Browser Hijacker

3. Rogue Security software

   • a form of malicious software
   • a form of internet fraud
   • some examples of rogue security software are: 360 Security, ANG Antivirus, AntiVermins, Antivirus 360, Antivirus 2008, Antivirus 2009.
