   • Planning to control time, cost and performace. Baselines created to compare and enable effective measurement of performance.

3. Deliverables

   • Project management plan including all plans to control time, cost, performance, budget, changes, etc.

4. PMs use the M&C process during all the projects life, since initation to closing

5. Control for: scope, requested changes, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risks

   • There a a lot of techniques and tools, for example: -Performance measurement compared to baseline. -Recommend changes. -Looking for defects and variations. -Procurements checking. -Identify the root causes of problems. -Identify the need of recurring planning. -Quality improvement. -Work with the changes control committe. -Customer satisfaction evaluation. -Use metrics reports to fix problems. -Identify risks. -Use hitos for schedule control.

6. Repair or defects

   • Implement corrective,  preventive  and approved actions in order to repair defects.

7. Closing of the project

   • Closing the project if it has been completed or canceled.
