1. Clock speed

   • Clock speed is the amount of times your CPU can execute commands in one second.
   • The unit that measures clock speed is Hz(Hertz)
   • It improves the performance because if you had a CPU with 1 MHz(1,000,000Hz) it would be a very slow CPU.

2. Cache

   • Cache is used so you can access it quicker instead of using RAM.
   • Cache is memory in the CPU which is frequently used.

3. RAM

   • RAM improves the performance because it stores all of the operating files and all of the files so you computer can work.
   • RAM improves the computer performance because it can hold more than one thing at a time and it has a fast read/write speed.
   • You can also expand how much RAM you have. This improves the performance because the RAM has a fast read/write speed so the more you have the better it is.

4. Cores

   • Cores improve the performance because every core improves the clock speed of the CPU.
   • If you have 4 cores you could have a clock speed of 4 GHz but if you have a dual core you could have a clock speed of 2 GHz.
