1. Cores

   • The number of independent processors in the CPU which run the fetch decode execute cycle simultaneously.
   • The effects of upgrading cores is that the files and the computer will get a lot quicker
   • Cpu with multiple cores have more power to run multiple programs at the same time.

2. RAM

   • Stores the programs, parts of the operating system and the files currently being used.
   • RAM holds all the open apps and if the ram is fall it will depend on the virtual memory.
   • The affect of RAM is that without it the computer would not have enough storage as every time the device gets turned of the ram gets restored.

3. Cache

   • Cache memory is a chip-based computer component that makes retrieving data from the computer's memory more efficient
   • temporarily hold data and instructions that the processor is likely to reuse
   • Upgrading Cache means that all of your instructions will be instructed faster

4. Clock speed

   • The clock speed measures the number of cycles your CPU executes per second
   • the higher the clock speed the more instructions it processes per second
   • The affects of upgrading the clock speed is that the cpu will run faster
