Preventive maintenance consists of partial revision activities in a planned way, in which they are executed changes, substitutions, lubrications, among other activities; before failures materialize.

    • Advantages of implementing TPM
      • The TPM focuses its objectives towards improving the efficiency of equipment and operations through reduction of failures, non-conformities, change, and is related, in the same way, to activities of order and cleanliness.
        • Quality improvement: equipment in good condition produce fewer non-conforming units.
        • Productivity improvement: Through increased time available.
        • Continuous Production Flows: Balance and Continuity of the system not only benefit the organization based on to the availability of time, but also reduces the planning uncertainty.
        • Use of human capital.
    • TPM abutments
