1. Business Process Management

   • Review BPM options
     • Review existing BPM arrangements to understand main strengths and weaknesses. Consider improvement options.
   • Publish BPM findings
     • Define BPM options, estimated costs, estimated ROI and recommend most appropriate approach for management consideration.

2. Improve current processes

   • Identify key processes
     • Identify key processes (e.g. most costly, most inefficient etc.)
   • Review identified processes
     • Analyse identified processes to determine how they can be improved.
   • Propose process improvements
     • Propose tactical (light touch) changes to identified processes to create cost savings and to free up resources. Proposals should be reviewed and approved before applying changes.
   • Implement improvements
     • Apply agreed changes to improve efficiency and to realise cost savings.

3. Business Architecture

   • Analyse current architecture
     • Review relevant documentation and run stakeholder interviews to create a blueprint of the current operating model. This analysis must remain high-level.
   • Propose "to be" architecture
     • Define "to be" operating model options and recommendations for management consideration.
