Módulo 2

  1. 1. Functions

    • 1. It is a separated part of the code able to:
      • cause some effect
      • evaluate a value and return it as the function’s result
    • 2. Where they come from?
      • built-in
        • They come from python itself, the interpreter provide
      • modules
        • this modules come with Python, or need instalation. But you import both
      • write then yourself
        • you can declare and use your functions
    • 3. Arguments
      • 1. Arguments are data to perform inside the function
      • 2. Positional arguments
        • When the position determines how the function interprets the argument.
      • 3. Keword Arguments
        • The argument is determined by a key.
    • 4. Function invocation (how python works)
      • 1. Chek if the name specified is legal
      • 2. Check if the number of arguments allows you to invoke the functions
      • 3. Python jumps inside the funcion and passes the arguments togeter
      • 4. Python executes the code and causes the desired effect and evaluates the desired results if exists.
      • 5. Python returns tor you code.
    • print()
      • 1. Is a function that receives a string like argument, and display the value legibly to humans
      • 2. end key, is by default end="\n"
  2. 2. Literals

    • 1. Is data whose values are determined by the literal itself. Possible choices in the Primitive Types.
    • 2. Integers
      • Integers are devoid of the fractional part.
      • Ex: 1, 1234, -1, -3234
      • Big numbers and the _. 11_222 = 11222
      • Octal Numbers
        • Ex: 0o123
        • Preceded 0o (zero o)
        • Just accepts digits from 0...7
      • Hexadecimal numbers
        • Base 16 = 0...9, A ... F
        • Preceded 0X or 0x (zero x)
        • Ex: 0x123
    • 3. Floats
      • 1. Numbers that have a floating-point.
      • Ex: 2.5, -0.5, 4.0
      • .4 = 0.4, 4. = 4.0
    • 4. Integer vs Floats
      • Python sees 4 and 4.0 in a completely different way. The point makes this a float.
    • 5. Scientifc Notation (E)
      • Representation for Big Numbers
        • Although uses 3x10p8 you can use 3E8 or 3e8 to represents 300000000.0.
      • Representantion of Small Numbers
        • 0.00001 = 1e-07
    • 6. Strings
      • Are used to precess text
